About Ohr Yehudis
Ohr Yehudis is a new center in Chicago dedicated to women’s Torah learning— a true makom Torah devoted to high-level study, meaningful connection, and personal growth.
After seminary, women enter some of the busiest and most demanding years of life: building homes, raising families, and carrying community responsibilities. These are the years when chizuk and guidance are needed more than ever. Ohr Yehudis was founded to be mechazek women by offering them a community grounded in Torah, guided by trusted mechanchos, and shaped by a rhythm of learning that becomes a treasured part of everyday life.
For the past six months, our pilot programming has demonstrated the tremendous desire within the community for ongoing, in-depth shiurim. We are now focused on expanding that vision by building lasting infrastructure and increasing programming across morning, midday, and evening tracks throughout the week. In addition to our regular classes, we aim to serve as the address for women’s learning in Chicago through guest speakers, Shabbos shiurim, and Torah-learning conferences that inspire you at every stage of life.
Our vision is simple: to create a center dedicated to high-level Torah learning for women in Chicago
